Responsibilities will include:

• Develop our production strategy to deliver on company objectives
• Build a production leadership team to lead and manage all aspects of production
• Outline team requirements along with the roles and responsibilities for production team
• Identify opportunities to progress technologically, such that SSC production capability is at the forefront of best-in-class and multi-platform capable
• Expand scope of ISO accreditations and QMS to include production, ensuring excellent levels of quality assurance and control
• Work with other members of the SSC team to develop and implement digital toolsets suitable for manufacturing execution
• Set standards for working procedures, incl. technical instructions, safe working practices and process data capture

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

Essential –

• Experience of working within a high value, low volume production environment
• Experience of productionising new technologies and new products
• Production experience with composite structures

Desirable –

• MBA or equivalent leadership experience
• Degree qualified within engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• Recognised Project Management experience and qualification
• Use of agile toolsets

Working Conditions:

The role will primarily be based in the SubSea Craft office in Portsmouth, UK. The position will involve work in an office as well as a manufacturing environment and occasionally at sea during trials, which may present physical challenges and require adherence to safety protocols.

Note: Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum Existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with Security Check likely for specific projects.*
