Who we are: SubSea Craft is a fast growing, privately-funded, UK-based SME delivering Advanced Maritime Technology. We leverage our team’s defence experience with cross-industry partnerships in the field of advanced naval engineering. Our flagship product, VICTA, is a Diver Delivery Unit – a surface submersible craft designed to operate at speed over range and capable of rapid transition beneath the surface to operate submerged, enabling the discreet delivery and recovery of divers. It is a unique, innovative British product focused primarily on the defence market but with utility beyond.

Responsibilities will include:

• Regular checks regards goods received
• Ensuring compliance with delivery procedures and that all documentation is collated and stored effectively
• Verifying that incoming deliveries correspond to the quality and quantity ordered, informing relevant departments regards any shortages or reject items, later following up with the supplier where applicable.
• Be highly organised and deliver on set objectives successfully and efficiently to set deadlines
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of receiving and stores areas
• Adhere to all health and safety elements in line with company policy
• Packing of goods for despatch/carrier booking which may include heavy lifting
• Operate cycle counts and annual stock take
• Support other departments when required 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience with receiving stock/goods or in a storekeeping capacity
• Current clean driving licence
• Utilise in-house computer systems/tools for all aspects of inventory control
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Required:

• Existing right to live and work in the UK and no known bar to obtaining appropriate UK security clearance as required.*
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Proficient in the use of ERP systems, Microsoft Office 365 packages including Outlook, Word, Excel
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Good team working and willingness to learn
• Administration for receipt of orders, recognise/report issues in goods received processes through stock control system
• Issuing stock, kitting products to production staff and engineers
• Assist procurement team when required
• Utilise control system tools to record stock adjustments and to action as appropriate
• Maintaining high level of housekeeping
• Ability to work flexibly to support the needs of the business

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a technical stores environment
• Fork lift truck licence
