Our market ready platform, VICTA, is an optionally crewed / payload carrying dual-domain platform designed to operate at speed over range, capable of rapid transition beneath the surface to operate submerged, enabling the discreet delivery of effects within contested waters. It is a unique, innovative British platform focused primarily on the defence market but with utility beyond.

Responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and manage all indirect procurement activities
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure business needs are met
• Assist with ensuring compliance with internal procurement procedures
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
• Reporting within the Finance Team, and working closely with the Supply Chain team, to control and report spend
• Collaborate continuously with the Supply Chain Lead and the Direct Procurement team

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• Experience in a similar position
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Great negotiator and communicator
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
• IT literate with ERP experience
• Team player

Desirable:

• CIPS Level 4/5 or equivalent

 

Note: Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum; existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with Security Check likely for specific projects.*
