Position: Project Coordinator
- Salary: £28k-£33k DOE
- Part time: 25-30hrs
- Permanent
Who we are: Subsea Craft is a fast growing, privately-funded, UK-based SME delivering Advanced Maritime Technology. We leverage our team’s defence experience with cross-industry partnerships in the field of advanced naval engineering. Our flagship product, VICTA, is a Diver Delivery Unit - a surface submersible craft designed to operate at speed over range and capable of rapid transition beneath the surface to operate submerged, enabling the discreet delivery and recovery of divers. It is a unique, innovative British product focused primarily on the defence market but with utility beyond.
Full Time Position for a driven and pro-active person with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.
This role will support the Client Support Directorate (CSD) and will have exposure to the following areas of the business:
- Project Management
- Health and Safety and Environment
- Quality Management
- Craft Operations
- Commissioning, Test and Trials
- Through Life Capability Management
- Training
The Role:

You will report to the Project Manager and support the CSD

Provide daily Project and Administrative support to the Client Support Director

Develop a detailed understanding of CSD activity and assist with aligning output across the company through the Project Manager

Maintain accurate and up to date project documentation including meeting minutes and documentation from craft trials

Prepare for meetings including but not limited to coordinating and inviting attendees, preparing agendas, collating and distributing papers, maintaining action trackers, preparing presentations, taking minutes, distributing draft minutes within agreed timescales

Update and maintain project associated documentation such as action trackers, risk and issue logs, project plans etc as directed and required

Work with contractors and business partners to arrange operations and logistics support where required

Support the Project Manager with Project Scheduling and Project Updates

Take on small projects in support of the main Delivery Programme
Desirable:
- Experience on MS Project beneficial but not essential
- Whilst experience in the maritime / defence sector would be an advantage it is by no means essential.
- Experience in a Project environment
Location: Portsmouth with some travel to Portland in support of Test and Trials periods.
