Who we are: SubSea Craft is a fast growing, privately-funded, UK-based SME delivering Advanced Maritime Technology. We leverage our team’s defence experience with cross-industry partnerships in the field of advanced naval engineering. Our flagship product, VICTA, is a Diver Delivery Unit - a surface submersible craft designed to operate at speed over range and capable of rapid transition beneath the surface to operate submerged, enabling the discreet delivery and recovery of divers. It is a unique, innovative British product focused primarily on the defence market but with utility beyond.
Job Overview: We are seeking a driven and proactive Process, Method, and Tools Coordinator with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the development and implementation of processes, methods, and tools to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with the development and implementation of standardised processes, methods, and tools across the organisation to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with various departments to identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Provide training and support to team members on new processes, methods, and tools.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation, including process maps, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimise CAD, PDM, ERP, requirements management, and CRM tools into the organisation's workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in process management methodologies and tools, recommending and implementing changes when necessary.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new tools and technologies to support the organisation's' goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in process improvement, project management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of process management methodologies and tools, such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
- Excellent organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Familiarity with CAD, PDM, ERP, requirements management, and CRM tools.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
